REGGIE McGILL
Coach McGill graduated from St. Mary’s in 1987 where he was the Arizona Player of the Year and in 1985, was MVP of the State Champion football game. Coach McGill was a Parade All-American and three year starter. His teams won two state championships at St. Mary's and was part of the state’s longest winning streak Additionally, he was a two time MVP as nominated by his teammates at St. Mary's and is the current rushing record holder at St. Mary’s. Coach McGill's football jersey was retired in 1987 - so #42 is off limits. Coach McGill attended the University of Arizona - where he was a four year starter at running back. In his junior year at the U of A, he led the team in rushing and receiving and was named Pac 10 honorable mention. Coach McGill attended NFL team camps for the San Diego Chargers and the Detroit Lions. Coach McGill has been a teacher and coach for sixteen years. |
