Eddy Zubey

Coach Zubey graduated from De La Salle High School in Concord, CA. During coach Zubey’s four years at De La Salle, they never lost a game. Coach Zubey also attended Los Medanos JC in Pittsburg, CA and Arizona State University were he played linebacker in the '97 Sun Bowl. Coach Zubey has in excess of ten years coaching experience. Prior to becoming the St. Mary's Head Coach, he was a graduate assistant offensive line coach at Arizona State University, as well as the Head Coach at Westwood High in Mesa, AZ.

John Faramelli

Coach Faramelli has over thirty years coaching experience. He has held coaching positions at Sahuaro High School, North High School and has been at St. Mary's for the last two seasons. Coach Faramelli has also served as a coach at Scottsdale Community College.

Vince Amey

Coach Amey attended Arizona State University from '94-'98 were he was a three year starter on the defensive line. Coach Amey was an integral part of the 1996 ASU Pac 10 Championship and Rose Bowl team. Coach Amey was drafted in the 7th round by the Oakland Raiders in 1998. Additionally, he played for the NFL Europe Frankfurt Galaxy championship team and the Barcelona Dragons, as well as for the L.A. Avengers, Arizona Rattlers, San Jose Sabercats and Chicago Rush of the Arena League over an eight year career. Coach Amey was the Defensive Coordinator of the 2008 St. Mary's Knights Varsity team.

Bryant Westbrook

Coach Westbrook attended the University of Texas from '93-'96 were he was a standout All-American Defensive Back. Coach Westbrook was selected as the #5 overall draft pick in the 1997 NFL draft and played for the Detroit Lions '97-'01 and Green Bay Packers '02-'03. This will be Coach Westbrook’s second season at St. Mary's.

Joe Ortiz Jr.

Coach Ortiz graduated from St. Mary's and attends Arizona State University. This will be Coach Ortiz's fourth season coaching at St. Mary's.

Mike Kaddatz

Coach Kaddatz graduated from Tremper High School in Kenosha, WI and attended Carthage College were he played strong safety. Coach Kaddatz also played semi-pro football in Georgia and Arizona. Coach Kaddatz has over ten years coaching experience. This will be coach Kaddatz second season at St. Mary's leading the "Special Forces".

Pat Gardner

Coach Garner attended the University of Montana were he played defensive end. He has over five years coaching experience and this will be his second season at St. Mary's

John Cruz Jr.

Coach Cruz graduated from St. Mary's High School. After graduation, he entered the United States Air Force were he attended college and played football. Coach Cruz has over 14 years coaching experience. Last season, Coach Cruz led the freshmen Knights to an undefeated record of 9-0.

Jean Iriart

Played college football at Snow College and Southern Utah State from 1968 to 1972. Upon graduation, he began teaching and coaching in the Paradise Valley School District. Football coaching included stints at Shadow Mountain High School, Saguaro High School, North High School and most recently at North Canyon High School.

Greg Fahrendorf

Greg Fahrendorf enters his second year as the strength and conditioning coach at St. Mary’s High School.  He was the strength and conditioning coach with the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League in 2007-2008. Prior to joining the Rattlers, Mr. Fahrendorf was with the Seattle Sonics (NBA) and Seattle Storm (WNBA) basketball teams, assisting the Storm during their 2004 WNBA championship season. Before that, he was with the University of Oregon athletics department. Mr. Fahrendorf returned to the Valley, where the Phoenix native attended St. Mary’s High School and interned with the Arizona Cardinals. In addition, he also interned in Major League Baseball with the San Diego Padres and Milwaukee Brewers.
