A tradition that started over sixty years ago by a coach named Jimmy Robinson when he led the Knights to a 13-0 opening victory over Scottsdale High School.
Since then, the Knights have worn the State Championship Crown nine times, including a 27 game winning streak that stretched from September of 1984 to October 1986.
Skills, dedication, and excellent coaching are not the only reasons St. Mary’s Football teams are so successful. The tradition of St. Mary’s Spirit from parents, students and alumni has and will continue to add to the victory of the St. Mary’s Football Program.
